Launch Ceremony of the Celebration of

the HKSAR in Yuen Long cum Tree Planting Day
Introduction
Yuen Long District Office, Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Architectural Services Department and Yuen Long District Organizing Committee for the Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR jointly held the event on April 2007. Activities included launch ceremony and tree planting, Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibition, lion dance and stage performance, etc.

Brief Introduction
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR, Home Affairs Department, Information Services Department and 18 District Offices held the Photo Competition. Residents were invited to submit photos showing the following aspects, like Hong Kong's success in the past decade, the successful implementation of “One Country, Two Systems” and the can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit of Hong Kong people.
